Feeling Cute Today

Have you ever had one of those days where everything seems to go right no matter what it is? I know everyone says there are days when nothing seems to go right, but rarely do you hear of things going right no matter what.

Ive been thinking alot lately about life and happiness and today is one of those days for me. It helps that the last few days around here it has been raining cats and dogs (lol, who came up with that as it would be interesting to see animals fall from the sky), and the rain always seems to inspire me to thinking about things that I want to accomplish with my life. In case those of you who are my faithful readers dont notice I tend to pose more questions then I think I ever answer when I write these little blurbs, however I think that in posing the questions I can help myself to think about things more and also it give others a chance to say to themselves "what does that mean to me?" So anyway, here is one of the questions that Ive been pondering lately, and my proposed answers for it.

What is happiness anyway?

Hmm, to me that is a tough one. I have been searching for what makes me happy for some time now and I dont think I can actually answer what it truly is. I can give my opinion on what I think it should be, although it is kind of like the age old question of "what is love" in my opinion to describe happiness. Happiness is to me that feeling that you have something in your life that you look forward to daily. It is something that when you think about it it makes you smile. In a way, it could be described as something you love and want to have in your life forever even though you know that there isnt a way for it to stay all the time. For me, being happy is making sure that those around me whom I value truly as my friends is making sure that they are taken care of, and that they know that I am always here to help in anyway that I can possibly lend myself to do so.

Happiness isnt the number of friends you have, its the number of friends you can trust. And those are the important one that you know you can count on no matter what.
