Recipe - Berry Bread

  • Mood: Hungry
  • Moon Phase: Waxing Moon
  • Weather: Surprisingly Decent for December
Okay, so I am becoming domesticated for the holiday. Lol, and I have minimally burned myself thus far. I made this recipe the other day and it turned out absolutely wonderful so I am deciding to share. Granted this recipe is made using a bread maker, but I am sure you can probably make it by hand with a little bit more difficulty.

Berry Bread
1 1/3 c. Fresh Cranberries

2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
5 Tbsp Honey
2/3 Tsp Salt
2/3 c. Water
4 c. Flour
1 Packet of Quick Rising Dry Yeast

Put all ingredients into the bread maker in the order listed (if you don't you'll have to add more water later, trust me I tried this recipe twice because of this). Depending on your bread maker you can use either the Sweet Bread or Normal settings.

The bread tastes absolutely wonderful if you like cranberries. My step-mom gave me an idea of using orange juice instead of water so I am going to try that too and see how it turns out. I will report and let everyone know if it was a good substitution.

If any of you have a recipe you would like to share, feel free to post them here. I love to cook so I will try out almost anything and if I like it I'll definitely let you know. If you try this one out let me know how you liked it.
